I'm curious with this one: Why did you decide to start off with a bolder weight as opposed to a regular weight?

I think for my first run at it I wanted to make something I could use for display and headlines, and I've just been really attracted to super bold fonts.

Will this be released for public use?

Looks great, might I add.

wow i really like this. when i saw this poster i was thinking "where could i find this" until i realized that you made it. pretty impressive, i just got done going through a typeface type workshop this past semester in getting me ready for graphic design come this fall where I had to create my own fonts. they were all designed and built by hand, but for my final for the workshop I turned one of them digital. I'm currently working on making it a useable font. this, in my opinion, is really impressive. I would love to know the steps as to how you went about making this font. i'm going to be a sophomore in graphic design this coming semester at the kansas city art institute and typography has ALWAYS been of a huge interest to me. i would love to learn any tips you could give me! well, sorry for the long post, hope it doesn't scare you, but i am always interested in learning more.

building a typeface is definitely a big accomplishment for anyone! you are welcome to email me with your questions, but I first learned by hand like you. Then I was taught to bring it into Fontlab and work from there. It really helped to reference other fonts as well.

Awesome, thanks!

Super bold fonts are sexier than my girlfriend. Not really, but you get my meaning. Also, even if I did mean it, I wouldn't admit to it because she's mad scary when she's pissed.

But seriously, wicked font - are you planning on adding different weights to it?
